{"id":6249,"date":"2019-12-30T08:39:18","date_gmt":"2019-12-30T08:39:18","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.vsaa.lt\/?p=6249"},"modified":"2022-02-28T07:16:10","modified_gmt":"2022-02-28T07:16:10","slug":"celebrating-25-years","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.vsaa.lt\/en\/news-cat\/celebrating-25-years\/","title":{"rendered":"Celebrating 25 years"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong><span style=\"color: #800000;\">Celebrating 25 years<\/span><\/strong> since Vilnius Old Town was included into UNESCO World Heritage list with Lithuanian Chamber Orchestra &#8211; LKO.<\/p>\n<p>25 years ago, on December 17, 1994 at the World Heritage Committee\u2019s 18th session, held in Thailand, <strong><span style=\"color: #800000;\">Vilnius Historic Centre was inscribe<\/span><span style=\"color: #800000;\">d<\/span><span style=\"color: #800000;\"> on the UNESCO World Heritage list<\/span><\/strong> as having outstanding universal value.<\/p>\n<p>The Lithuanian Chamber Orchestra and its Artistic Director <strong><span style=\"color: #800000;\">violinist Sergej Krylov<\/span><\/strong> dedicated Christmas concert (26 12 2019) to this significant event.&nbsp;The musicians treated the audience to Chausson, Ravel and Saint-Sa\u00ebns\u2019 virtuoso opuses. Joseph Haydn and Nino Rota were also performed.<\/p>\n<p>The greeting by the Lithuanian Minister of Culture was presented before the concert.
