Due to the Covid-19 crisis, many beautiful events of European Artistic Crafts Days (EACD) 2020 had to be cancelled in Lithuania (Vilnius, Kaunas and Trakai) and all over Europe. There were more than 30 educational events, 4 exhibitions and several meetings with craftsmen planned in Vilnius in 2020. The EACD would be celebrated in Vilnius for the 6th time.
EACD are organized in Vilnius by the Old Town Renewal Agency and Vilnius Artistic Crafts Association since 2015; and supported by Vilnius City Municipality. The financial support was allocated for EACD 2020 as well. Due to the changed circumstances, it was decided to use the budget for the creation of 5 short films about craftsmen and their work:
