The IX World Congress of Organization of the World Heritage Cities (OWHC)

The IX World Congress of Organization of the World Heritage Cities (OWHC) was held on June 19-23, 2007, in Kazan, Tatarstan. OWHC World Congress is a unique forum, which is held every 2 years and gathers representatives of state authorities, politicians and experts in historical cities preservation. There were approximately 1000 participants from 70 countries in the IX Congress. Theme of the Congress “Heritage and Economics” and the program was worked out by representatives of OWHC and Getty Conservation Institute of Jean-Paul Getty Fund.

Vilnius Old Town Renewal Agency prepared a poster for the Poster Session of the Congress. OTRA architect J.Raugaliene took part in the IX congress and presented the poster during Posters Session, she also worked in the working groups.
